Hi Folks,

This weekend I've finally attacked the bit of the user interface that I've
hated the most for years, namely the giant list of camera controls on the
left hand side of the window.

In a radical departure the UI will no longer show all the camera controls
by default. Instead it will be populated with what I think is the list of
most commonly needed controls. Currently I have it showing aperture,
shutter speed, iso, white balance, image format, and image size by default.

If anyone has suggestions for other controls that are pretty important to
show by default let me know. The goal though is to keep the default list
pretty short, ideally no more than 8 controls by default to avoid the user
interface becoming overwhealmed again.

I'm still working on a dialog popup that will allow on the fly customization
of what is shown, stored in a preference per-camera model, so each camera
you own can have a different set of controls customized by the user.

The work in progress is in GIT already and finishing the UI to custommize
the list is a must-have before I do the next release.

Regards,
Daniel
