Thomas,
I've been using C2 stack with routing including OSPF for over a year and although we hit a few snags along the way, these have already been resolved in the latest firmware. Generally speaking the C2/C3 isn't targeted for large core deployment but if the setup is simple and as Volker states below not many users it should be fine. Hi Tom ! Until version 5.00.xx there were some problems about implementing routing code into the C2 firmware. We had a lot of trouble with this. But after version 5.01.01.0049 the routing code is more solid. We recommend the routing on C2 for not more than 100 users and no multicast functions enabled. Hi, I am currently thinking about enabling the Layer 3 routing functionality on our C2s in the remote locations. We have about 60 to 100 people per location and mostly one C2 stack handling the network. What I have heard is that the routing on the C2 is not that reliable, so I have been told better not to use it. Does anyone has some experience with this?!
