We too use these at remote locations but NOT with dynamic routing protocols -
only static routing is necessary in our deployment.
You might be interested to know that we have also activated the DHCP-helper
function as all DHCP (and PXE boot) servers are centrally located . It has
worked well for over a year.
Currently deploying a similar solution with C3s and Cisco ASA for VPN tunnels.
Lab tests look promising, so far.

Subject: [enterasys] Routing on C2?!

Hi,

I am currently thinking about enabling the Layer 3 routing functionality on our
C2s in the remote locations. We have about 60 to 100 people per location and
mostly one C2 stack handling the network.
What I have heard is that the routing on the C2 is not that reliable, so I have
been told better not to use it.
Does anyone has some experience with this?!

Bye
Tom
