I had same problem, was Cisco trained. I took some of Enterasys's bootcamps. They are very helpful. GTAC is helpful too.

The commands are very different than on Cisco switches. I know I have to create all of the vlans on the Enterasys switches because they don't recognize VTP but I am not having any luck. We recently purchased Enterasys switches and I am having trouble getting them connected to our Cisco network. Does anyone have any experience adding Enterasys switches to a Cisco network? ________________________________ This email and any files transmitted with it are to be treated as confidential and as such are not to be used or disclosed except for the purpose for which it has been sent.
