Derek:
I am not familiar with these products. Are they Enterasys?
The Enterasys Netsight NMS suite has NAC built in. In addition, it now has an API built in.
See the web site:

Hope this helps.

In 2008 I bought a PL7600 and upgraded to a PL7720 in 2012, logging to a PL1200. I'm quite happy with the product and have recommended it to several of my EDU colleagues.
I unfortunately can't speak to the API or NAC integration -- I don't have NAC (yet) and haven't had time to tinker beyond that. I do recall seeing example code from Procera however, and thinking
it wouldn't be difficult.

Subject: [enterasys] Enterasys and Procera
We are looking to replace our packetshaper, and Procera is leading the
bunch.
It supports a python (and json?) API for control. The reps and
resellers all talk about how it can be made to integrate.
Is anyone else out there using Procera, and have you done any
integration with it an the NAC?
Thanks,
