Hi!

We use Puppet to push Firefox to our Windows workstations (2000+ ).

Current Puppet manifests (scripts) rely on the assumption of the existence of a version number in the form MAJOR.MINOR.REVISION in the following places:

- /File name/: Firefox Setup *38.7.0*esr.exe
- /Package Name (as seen in Programs and Features)/: Mozilla Firefox *38.7.0* ESR (x86 pt-BR)
- /Package Version//(as seen in Programs and ///Features/)/: *38.7.0*

In Firefox 45ESR, however, the pattern changed to MAJOR.MINOR (ie 45.0 instead of 45.0.0). This new version pattern will be kept through 45ESR whole life cycle or it was a mistake and it will be reverted to keep compatibility with 38ESR?
