Greetings, With Chrome we're able to automatically update via the Windows task scheduler. I've got a large network of managed windows boxes with Firefox ESR 45.x And I've been wondering if there's a way to trigger a Firefox check for updates through the Windows task scheduler. I'm completely aware that users may check manually through the About window however I would like for the browser to silently upgrade whenever possible. So I saw updater.exe file and I was wondering if there's any known switches to trigger a check-for-update event? Before anyone mentions the wiki I've already check https://wiki.mozilla.org/Windows_Service_Silent_Update and I'm not interested to do MAR files, we already allow traffic to the internet for the updater.
So basically my end goal: silently trigger an update through updater.exe with a task IF possible Eric
