Thanks Matthew,

Matthew/Michel – please note the browser/defaults/profile support will not be
there in the next ESR per Mike Kaply:
https://mike.kaply.com/2016/05/24/default-profile-directory-doesnt-work-in-firefox-46/

A safe bet looks to be to use the CCK2 to configure Firefox, which allows for
tons of configurations and adds this support back in (bonus!):
https://github.com/mkaply/cck2wizard/releases

It is a great tool – and if you like it there is an option to purchase support.

Thanks,

ESR 45.2.0

The contents of ./browser/defaults/profile will be copied into a new user's
profile on creation.
