Hey Mozilla community,

Is there a way to trigger Firefox self-check for updates upon start a bit like
chrome?

Basically right now my users go to about to check for updates, but unless the
user does that no update is applied to the browser.

The behaviour I’m looking for is that the browser will check for updates and
then warn the user that the software client needs to restart in order to apply
the changes.

Any relevant clue would be much appreciated!

Thanks!
