I somewhat routinely use private browsing to log into services with different credentials without having to set up extra profiles, so there are legitimate business uses.
If the concern is auditing then that is best done with logging and filtering the web traffic. Private mode doesn't do anything that can't be done manually (clearing browser history, clearing the user profile folder, etc).
