Might it be better to have that ability 'built in' to Firefox (well, the ESR version at least) ? We're in the rather odd situation of having to run the CCK2 'wizard' in ESR 52 to generate an AutoConfig file and possibly a Policy json file for use with ESR 60+ ? Unless, that is, you are planning a WebExtensions version of CCK2 ?
