I'm doing the new user thing and promise that I'm looking in the help before
writing these queries ...
1) I imported nearly a thousand contacts from OE. When I type names in the
addressing fields the names and addresses all autofill as I'm used to. BUT
- I cannot see them in the address book. I can't see any obvious
indications of a filter being on. The eraser for filters is grayed out.
Any thoughts?
2) Also - is there an easy way to set up a global view for folders in terms
of the column that they show and the sequence. I know that a sub-folder
inherits it's view from the parent folder - but this was all imported from
OE and the views are gone.
3) Finally - Somewhere in the import process, which I repeated several times
I ended up with double mailing list instructions. I deleted every other one
- now it turns out that nearly every mailing rule is directing messages to
the wrong folder, and several of my user rules are also pointed to the wrong
folders. It sure would be nice to have some sort of debugging log that
tells what rules acted on a given message - even if it is a special
diagnostic mode the is enable only part of the time.
