Well, I imported about the same number and they all show up. Odd yours
don't. One stupid thought: Did you have a bunch of blank names, by chance,
and they are sorted to the top? Or blank records? What happens when you
filter on some name you know is there? Do you see anything show up? Play
around with the column headers, clicking them for differing sorts, to see if
anything shows. At the bottom of the Address Book window, how many items are
indicated? Mine, for instance, says, "1725 items displayed, 1 selected".

Good question; I don't know.

Some messages have discussed problems with importing rules. The only
suggestion is deleting them <all> and manually recreating them, which
probably will result in a slimmer rules list if you do it. I lucked out;
mine seem to have imported fine. I have had to reset the folders some things
move to, and to set categories correctly where OE was setting colors, and I
needed (of course) to rewrite any Applescripts that were being invoked
(often just changing the program name). Other than that, my rules seem to be
working.
