Definitely Dan once said that he'd "think about" format-flowed, which is
what you're asking for, but I guess he hasn't done so yet. If I recall
correctly, he had no objection to it on principle.
I think it must be pretty difficult to make a big change like that (it must
involve a lot of checking into RFC standards) at the same time as you're
trying to:
1) develop an entirely new app (Entourage) and deal with all its crashing
problems when in beta
2) make this new app co-ordinate for the first time with all the other
Office apps and another new thing, OQV, that isn't even ready to check
against until you're virtually finished with everything else
3) probably race against the clock to try to get OE carbonized for Mac OS X
and co-ordinate with IE 5.5
But I think it would be an excellent idea to have format-flowed. I also
can't see any reason why NOT to have it: it doesn't appear to be difficult
for any email client to read it. Even OE reads it fine.
