I have a 500MHz Pismo whose speed isn't too shabby. All four menu emulations
work if the Calendar is already open (whether in the foreground or in the
background). There is just too much of a delay in opening the window.
Don't bother with the elaborate work-around on my part. No offense, but I
probably wouldn't use it when the script-less way is just a few clicks.
Thank you for offering, however.
Here's to hoping that the Calendar is scriptable directly in the next
update.
