Since the scripting gurus here seem to be in high gear and I am a scripting wimp, I have a question/request. I use Yahoo and Ematic for email and both require Pop authentication prior to sending email. Can a script be written that will access a pop account and then mail waiting to be sent?
cheers

First, why don’t you just try putting the “Receive Mail” commands higher up than the “Send All” command in your Send & Receive Schedule All schedule. If that’s too fast to work well here (it might be), remove all those receive and send actions and instead set the schedule to run the following script:
tell application “Microsoft Entourage”
connect to every POP account
delay 5
send
end tell
If you ever decide that you need yet another undependable free mail account and get a Hotmail account too, then you’ll have to add a line
connect to every Hotmail account
in there somewhere.
The 5 is for seconds. Adjust it if you need to. You won’t be able to do anything else (like typing) while you’re waiting for the script to finish.
