I run an iMac and an iBook, and I've actually considered buying a Visor
(Palm Pilot competitor) to let me sync them.

Currently, since they are in the same location, I connect them with an
Ethernet crossover cable, fire up AppleTalk and FileSharing, and copy the
MUD folder from the recently active machine to the one needing to be
updated. I have to be careful to do all my mail work on one machine and not
the other, or I will lose something in the copy. For instance, if I am
working primarily on the iBook but send a message or two from the iMac, then
when I copy from iBook to iMac I will lose those messages. Unless I cc them
to myself and receive them on the iBook. So it is less than perfect.
