I use a script I originally wrote for OE 4.5 that I've updated for OE 5 and
now Entourage (big change -- just change the name of the app!).
It currently archives to disk files, maintaining the folder hierarchy, and
uses ASCII value 255 as a message separator, but I'm considering making the
change to MBOX format (also so that I can just use the "drag & drop"
functionality of Entourage directly). However, I usually create a new,
compressed disk image with DiskCopy of the final, archived folder, although
I also often create a bigger image and then index the mail for Sherlock,
THEN convert the image to a compressed, read-only image.
