I have been working some on my two scripts to find dupes (one flags one pair
at a time; the other tries to find them all and assign them to a category).
Both of them seem to have some kind of problem finding all the dupes. I have
a version of both scripts that runs probably better than the one you have; I
think I have fixed the problem of its trying to get the Company of a contact
that has no company field. (I think that is your problem; the message looks
familiar from several days back, so I think I fixed it.) But it is hardly
worth sending it to you, because I have yet to come up with ANY version of
the script that works reliably!! When I look at my contacts there are still
dozens of duplicates that the script isn't seeing, and I am still trying to
figure out the flaw in my logic.

I had a version that seemed to be working fairly reliably for as long as I
let it run. However, the method it used took more than one second per
contact, and I have 1650 contacts in my file, which would mean a run of
about 2000 seconds, or about 33 minutes. Way too long! So, I'm still writing
and rewriting the guts of the scripts. I'll post word when I get something
fast and reliable.
