Hi all,
In Entourage, whenever I double-click on a word to select the entire word, I
get the trailing space selected as well. This is driving me insane. If I
can't figure out how to disable this, I'm going to switch back to OE. I'm
sure there's a preference somewhere that I've overlooked - the MS team
wouldn't be sadistic enough to turn this "feature" (and I use that term
loosely) on permanently, would they?!?!?
Likewise, when I select an entire word (and manually deselect the trailing
space), and then cut that word, Entourage automatically assumes that I want
the remaining two spaces condensed into one space. This is also driving me
nuts!!! It drove me nuts in OE as well.
These behaviours aren't standard Mac things, so every time I switch from a
normal application to Entourage, I need to switch into a different frame of
mind. My mind can't handle all this switching!
