Thanks for the tip. I already had the reminders shut off. I haven't used the
calendar and task portion of Entourage yet. I Only use it for email, really.
Your idea did prompt me to start up with extensions off and try a rebuild. I
did get further then before. The rebuild process appeared to get about 3/4
of the way through before Entourage crashed with a type 3 error.
I then tried the same process again � Restart, Extensions Off, Advanced
Rebuild � and the results were the same. The first status bar counted up and
then it switched to "Compacting". This status bar got about halfway through
before crashing with a type 3 error. Between attempts, I bumped up the
memory allocated to Entourage to over 150 megs.
Anything else? It seemed so close! I do have an incident report on file with
MS. No response yet, though.
