If what you mean is how to locate groups in the Address book, click the
"Contact Type" column (the little "man" figure), and if groups are not at
the top, click the triangle to reverse the sort.

Another way: use my scripts, "Choose Group E" and "Choose Group Subset E",
which are enclosed:

-- Choose Group E --
tell application "Microsoft Entourage"
    activate
    set theGroups to name of groups

    choose from list theGroups with prompt "Choose a group to email:"
    set theGroup to item 1 of result
    set theUsers to (display name of content of group entries of group
theGroup)
    set theAddresses to (address of content of group entries of group
theGroup)
    choose from list theUsers default items theUsers with prompt "Hold
Command key and deselect addressees:" with multiple selections allowed
    set userNames to result
    set toUse to {}
    repeat with i from 1 to count of items of theUsers
        if userNames contains item i of theUsers then
            set end of toUse to item i of theAddresses
        end if
    end repeat
    set theNew to make new outgoing message at out box folder with
properties {recipient:toUse}
    open theNew
end tell

-- end Choose Group E --

-- Choose Group subset E --
tell application "Microsoft Entourage"
    activate
    set theGroups to name of groups
    choose from list theGroups with prompt "Choose a group to email:"
without multiple selections allowed
    set theGroup to item 1 of result
    set theUsers to (display name of content of group entries of group
theGroup)
    set theAddresses to (address of content of group entries of group
theGroup)
    set theMenu to {}
    repeat with i from 1 to count theUsers
        copy {"\"" & item i of theUsers & "\" " & item i of theAddresses} to
the end of theMenu
    end repeat
    choose from list theMenu default items theMenu with prompt "Hold Command
key and deselect addressees:" with multiple selections allowed
    set toUse to result
    repeat with i from 1 to count toUse
        set item i of toUse to (item i of toUse) as string
    end repeat
    set theMsg to make new outgoing message at out box folder with
properties {recipient:toUse}
    open theMsg
end tell
-- END Choose Group Subset E --

Copy the scripts into separate windows in Script Editor, and save them,
naming them as you wish, in the Entourage Script Menu Items folder. Run them
from the Script menu in Entourage.
