Which reminds me.

I want the calendar to understood "every full moon".

'cause we do full moon kayak trips and it's such a pain to have to always
look them up.

I wouldn't be opposed if the calendar simply included moon phases in some
view...


Of course...you could have "every solar eclipse" and "every lunar eclipse"
as well.  But that's a bit more location specific...and thus somewhat more
challenging.

And I'm guessing tide tables are right out. (1)

(1) One of the full moon trips we run (when the water level is right...oh
yeah, can't I have the calendar automatically fetch gauge levels from around
the web?), includes running the Mid-Atlantic Fall-line (aka the spot (most
often a waterfall) where the Potomac River (in this case) switches to being
a tidal river).  To plan this safely, we usually have to find the time of
sunset, the time of military twilight, the time of moonrise, the water
level, the water temperature, and the tide state and times for Washington,
DC.
