I note that the inclusion of the above colors and fonts in your message causes your message to grow from approximately 1.5k to approximately 4.5k.

Granted, a trivial amount.

I also note that most "good" mail clients will "blue" the clickable elements of your signature anyway...


But aside from doubling the size of any message that you send (and thus annoying long-time networking purists(1) such as myself), what purpose does the "stylish" signature actually serve? ;-)

(1) Network purists are those people who dedicate their professional lives to ensuring that the network can get bigger, go faster, and be more reliable...all while continually bemoaning the fact that that just means that people put more stuff on the network.
