You might use the Calendar instead of Notes. Double-click on a day or hour,
and a Task window opens. Type in your thoughts, enter the current time, save
and close the note.

It might of course be much better to use Notes and have a script date and
time-stamp each of your entries.

But why not just use Word and its Outline View, if you want to keep an
organized document that you can search easily?

Final thought: Henry Thoreau wrote a journal of 2 million words, all with
pen and pencil.
