I just ran into a strange but repeatable scenario with Entourage and
Netscape V6.0. With Netscape open, I attempt to start Netscape.
- After a few seconds of the splash screen, I get a pop-up that says that
the signatures file is corrupt and that I should delete it and restart
Entourage.
- I don't use signatures, so I had no problem deleting the file.
- When I restart, after a few seconds of the splash screen, I get another
pop-up that says that the rules file is corrupt and that I will not be able
to use rules.
- I have few rules so I click OK (there is no other choice) and Entourage
goes away.
- I close Netscape and Entourage starts up just fine (all the rules are
intact)
Anybody experience such a thing or know what is going on?
