I just discovered that a main contact of mine, who had recently switched
mail addresses, did not have the new address listed in my address book. As a
result, the "last message received" for him is set to "Never." Is there any
way--perhaps using the messages I've received from him--to refresh or update
that date? I realize that the next time I get a message from him at that
address, the date will be reset. But I'd like to tidy it up now if possible.

If not, a related question. If I wanted to link all Tom's mail messages (now
gathered in one folder) to his contact entry, can I do it in a single
command? I realize there is a setting in the preferences to link all
messages that I <send> to an individual to their contact record; is there a
way to do the same thing with incoming messages?
