I have found that attachments sent from Entourage using Apple Double, or
Windows (Base 64) encoding (no compression) are not accessable or
readable on receipt. Have tried sending to both Mac and Windows machines,
and to different email programs (Outlook and Claris Emailer) but
attachment becomes part of email text and error message in text says:
> This message is in MIME format. Since your mail reader does not understand
>this format, some or all of this message may not be legible.
Same message on either Windows or Mac machines, and Entourage itself
cannot receive its own attachments in a readable form - same error
message as above.
The only attachments I have been able to send successfully have been with
UU or binhex encoding but these are erratic, or cannot be read by a
Windows machine, and I need the ability to send to Windows machines.
Any ideas?
