It's true. I never bothered to post this there. I'll make a version which you can apply to any folder. In the meantime, you can use this on your "Sent Items" folder, or replace the name by whatever folder you want. If it's a subfolder called "Special Sent Items" of a top-level folder called "Special" , you'll have to say 'folder "Special Sent Items" of folder "Special" ‘. I'll make it easier to use in a jiffy.


    set nowDate to current date
   
    tell application "Microsoft Entourage"
        delete (every message of folder "Sent Items" whose time sent < (nowDate - (7 * days)))
    end tell

They will actually be in the Deleted Items folder until you quit Entourage or run your Empty Deleted Items schedule.
