Not yet; hope there will be. I have a script that does it (slowly, by
finding every message in the folder whose subject is the same, with or
without "Re:" as a prefix). But there <is> a keyboard shortcut for deleting
an entire thread (Command-Option-Delete), whether read or not. I've resigned
myself to deleting threads unread sometimes, and then once in a while
switching to the Deleted Items folder, viewing unread (unthreaded), and
marking everything Read to get rid of the Boldface on the folder name.
The alternative to keep things in their folder would be to set the view to
unthreaded, sorted by Subject (which I do with a OneClick button), and then
selecting the entire thread. Even there Entourage has a problem since the
Cmd-T shortcut <toggles> the read/unread status, so if you've read some
messages in the thread, it now marks them unread. Again, a script that sets
"read status" to "Read" regardless of current value is required to make this
work smoothly.
