I expect that is true, especially the corruption part. I used to get it at
times, though I may have been using another email program or another version
of FileMaker. (I usually use 3.0v5, so it is upgradeable to higher
versions.)

I don't get the problem any more, since applying that fix Allen cites, and
doing a full rebuild of Entourage's (beta-version) database, though all I've
been working on lately is the new Entourage.

I would try to duplicate that message, or send it to myself, and delete
permanently the "bad" one. If needed, I would rebuild.

I never saw anything wrong in the message or headers either. I still use
only the fix that I gave Allen, though I don't think I should have that. It
only fixes Entourage's not giving a full "properties" value, or giving the
wrong one, by using the slower message itself. Perhaps the error is giving
the wrong message?

By the way, another mystery-problem is that if you click in the menu bar or
some application switchers (not Apple's) when in the Archiver application
(only), some people can's switch any more. Though a plain cmd-period will
abort it if you wish. Then you can start where you left off. I have no idea
except that it may be a bug in AppleScript.

I'll try to get a beta for Entourage and Outlook Express only uploaded
"soon" for the adventurous. But it requires that you start with a fresh
database (it has changed a little) or import your old ones. Caution advised,
but so it is for all these betas.

Cheers,
John
