Title: File Corruption & Hang Up

I had my second database crash with Entourage in a little over two months.
The first time the corruption was obvious. This time Entourage would hang up upon loading and would display only it’s main window’s framework with the word Entourage in the header. None of the panes or menus were visible. . . Just a blank window! Each time I  tried to -force  quit- with no luck. After several hard restarts and reloading the application itself, I also ran Norton AntiVirus & DiscDoctor. I eventually tried  an advanced rebuild and everything is  -fine- or is it?

Why does Entourage crap out like this?

This is twice in two months and I have a relatively small database, around 400 contacts and handle maybe  50 emails daily.

 Anyone else with similar problems?
