It works fine in this regard for me here.
You'll probably get a problem with excess network traffic. If Entourage is
in the foreground, the network arrows in the top left of the menu bar will
go berserk, even if you're not doing anything in Entourage. You can even
disconnect the machine from the network (and therefore disconnect the
Documents folder), and the network arrows will still go crazy. If you do
this, Entourage will still try to open messages (even though you're no
longer connected to the server), and will display garbage instead of the
proper message text.
