Are they exact duplicates? If so, then obviously you need to delete one of
each. Probably happened during the import process. I have an AppleScript for
locating and flagging duplicate contacts, called "Duplicates Report". It can
create a SimpleText file containing a list of all your duplicates, and in
addition it will optionally mark every duplicated record by placing it in a
category called "Duplicate". You then need to manually delete one of each
marked pair. If you want I can add an option for you to either actually
delete one of each pair, or to set the "flag" on one of each pair. For two
contacts to be considered duplicates the names must be an exact match, but
other fields can be different. There are other scripts included in the
package to merge two records for the same person.
