Error CHK

E'rage just crashed (bombed) my computer (iMac 233, rev. B, os9.1, 96 mb
ram) with an error, I've never seen before. It's called CHK.

I was trying to launch IE while sending out mail when it happened. The
restart-button in the Bomb-dialog didn't work, so I had to get the old
paperclip out to reboot.

Anyone ever seen this behavior?
