I should have been more specific. Several 9.1 crashes were reported to THIS
list over the past few days; I have also read plenty of them on two other
lists, so I don't think I am spreading rumors here. If you check the Apple
Technical Information Library, you will find plenty of similar complaints.
The fun starts when you complain both to Apple and the 3rd party; each
blames the other for the incompatibility.
