IE 5 normal and IE 5 on the Office CD

Can anyone from MS clarify this once and for all?

Is the IE 5 on the Office 2001 CD any different from the official 5.0
distribution version?

The reason for me asking this is because I recall some people telling me to
use it instead of the original one to avioid conflicts with Entourage.
