I've wondered why they wouldn't have a Firewire port.  The only reason I
could think of is that they want to keep the recording industry off their
backs until they get big enough to be able to fight back.  Still, why not
have a slot for an 802.11 card that could at least stream to another Tivo
box in the house?  It's not the company's fault if the end user hacks it to
save movies to his computer.
