I have no trouble getting to the site, and no problem searching it. The
problems arise, when I want to download. My IE Download Manager reports an
error and SpeedDownload reports error too. It's a shame.

Yes. I don't keep the "All Scripts" archive up to date, but I do keep all
the scripts up to date there! :-)

But it's a shame you have so much trouble with AppleScript Central. Is it
getting to the site, or downloading specific scripts that's the problem?
(They are actually two different sites.) AS Central is such a nice site,
with that amazingly fast search engine, that I'm sorry to hear there are
problems downloading, particularly as it keeps track of download totals.
(Sometimes I go look at the total for Office for Office just to feel good!
Pretty feeble, eh?) Others have told me the same thing about download
problems from time to time.
Maybe there's something Erik can do about it. It may just be that there's a
lot of traffic at the download site.
