Maybe someone can write a nifty AppleScript that automatically bypasses that
stupid and perfectly useless dialog everytime print is invoked?

(The Dialog should be part of 'Page Setup' options, as it should be a
one-time configuration, or at the very least, relatively rare... as it
stands now, shades of MS/Win BU...:-)
