Here's a question for you scripting guru's. Would it be possible to write a
script that would delete from the E'rage calendar all daily repeating
events?

I ask because I've been trying to figure out some way to make both the
Entourage calendar and my Palm handheld calendar deal with multiple day
events. I don't like having to use a daily repeating event on the E'rage
calendar, because then a long description gets cut off (and the beginning
repeated over and over), and the calendar isn't as clear (especially if
there is one or more single day event during the multiple day event). OTOH,
on the handheld, the only way to have a multiple day event show in Month
view is to have it be a daily repeating event for the right number of days.
And on the handheld, that looks right (it essentially shows as a "banner" of
little dots across the bottom of the days in Month view and is listed at the
top of each day in Day view.

If I start by putting the event in the E'rage calendar as a multi day event
and then sync, it will just show up on the first day on the handheld. I can
then go to that day and edit the event to make it a daily repeating event
for the right number of days. That's a pain, but would be worth it to have
both platforms as I want them. However, if I do that and then sync again, I
end up with two "events" on the E'rage calendar - my original multi day
event and another daily repeating event. Obviously, the sync conduit doesn't
realize these are really the same event. But, assuming I'd be willing never
to have any daily repeating events on the E'rage calendar (and I can't see
ever wanting one), if I could have a script that would delete all daily
recurring events, I could just run that after sync'ing and get rid of the
duplicate events and end up with what I want both place, with only a little
bit of extra effort. So, can it be done?
