I have also encountered the "blacked out folders column" bug on my 2nd
monitor (G4/400 with an IXMicro UltimateRez card), noted today at
http://www.macfixit.com
Anybody know if it is on the "bug fix" list at Microsoft yet?

Ron McKinney notes a problem with Entourage on a Pismo PowerBook driving an
external monitor. He writes: "With the external display color depth set to
Thousands of colors and 1024x768 and the internal display set to Millions
and 1024x768, when Entourage's main window is dragged onto the external
screen, occasionally the folder list pane on the left part of the main
screen goes completely black. Drag the window back and everything is fine.
Quitting and relaunching the program also clears the problem."
Update: Dave Tuma has the same symptoms on a B&W with an ixmicro 3d video
card. He found that switching the second monitor's color depth to millions
and back to thousands also works around the problem.
