It will also do that if you have error in the error log. Is there a small
yield icon in lower right corner (or just open menu Window:Error Log or type
cmd-8 to see any entries).
Also, you can set the preference for notification to not Flash Icon
(although this does NOT work properly regarding the progress window...which
seems to open when E is in the background no matter WHAT settings you have.)
