a big thanks to Paul and Allen, both the scripts worked great! you guys
saved me the trouble of attaching a file to over 2000 messages individually.

btw this is not for spam purposes. I've setup an email merge in Word/Excel
but Word doesn't have the capability of attaching a file to the merged
messages so the only choice left was AppleScript. thanks again!
