Just to clarify, that statement was not authorized by PR. It was just me
personally trying to be helpful.
I read the article, realized that it relates to SPAM, realized that the only
SPAM I get is for posting in UseNet groups, and moved on.

Actually, I found that I had opted in. And I rarely get SPAM mail on my
Hotmail account that isn't from UseNet posting.
Furthermore, if you look read the article, the person who publicized this
issue was "Internet Activist Bennett Haselton" who I had heard of before.
He's made a name for himself by defeating filtering software:
