As yet, I've not seen any software which offered to sync online address
books.
Although, last summer, prior to the seeming death of IPOs, we had actually
circulated a business plan summary aimed at that market. Essentially we
were targeting the concept of building the necessary software to allow you
to quickly and easily move your data from one service provider to another.
We were toying with the name VirtualFreedom.com; however, that's already
taken by a home schooling organization and they were not willing to sell.
Anyhow, it'll be another couple of years before the need for such a service
really becomes apparent...in the meantime, it remains an important third
part opportunity.
