The vaguest outline (I don't feel like writing a long description today) was
that all data be capable of residing on a server.
I abide with the theory that clients are destined to be thin devices
accessing a centralized data store with the presentation of the data being
done in such a way as to take into consideration the bandwidth of the
connection and the processing power of the device being used.
The other theory is that storage will become so cheap and so small that
people will carry all of their data with them everywhere.
Reality will undoubtedly be somewhere between the two extremes.
