Could be.
But the indexing technology that underlies Sherlock is available to the
motivated third party...and it doesn't have to scan just the first N words.
And I vaguely recall that you can programmatically add things to Sherlock's
database.
So it's just a small matter of programming. ;-)

PS: A SMOP is an important measure of programming effort. MacOS, UNIX, and
Windows are about the only gigaSMOP projects (and that's measured across
each's entire life).
PPS: And yes, it would be better if Entourage simply implemented its own
internal indexing (which could also be done using the V-Twin technology) and
gave us far-too-speedy searching. And way, way fast virtual views. For a
