I have an Applescript that I use for deleting messages from the server. It
simply marks the message for deletion from the server. I like to use it in a
filter: for example, when a message arrives from a certain person, it
deletes it from the server (people who I know are writing typically to say,
"let's get coffee!").
I also have another script that I use in a filter which opens the folder
when a message arrives. I have folders nested several layers deep sometimes.
When a message arrives from certain people, and is routed to that folder, I
like to have the message immediately opened for me to read.
