I'm luring my wife away from AOL. Because she insists on colors and fonts
in her e-mail, I've looked at Entourage, and I must admit I'm impressed
myself. However, on casual perusal, I haven't yet figured out where the
mail database is stored (so that I can carry it from desktop to laptop),
and I haven't been able to find out if there are scripts to extract
individual messages from digests, as there are for Emailer. Do such
scripts exist, and if so, where do I find them?
In Emailer, I would read digests with a series of "Command-E, Command-G"
keystrokes, after selecting a message title's text at the beginning of
the digest. Is this possible within Entourage?
Thanks so much. I'm sure I'll have other questions (in fact, I already
thought of one; since I'm considering using this, I should think about it
replacing Palm Desktop as well. What I do now is use Palm Desktop's
"Merge" function, to make sure my contacts/calendar database are the same
on desktop and laptop computers. I know that Entourage doesn't support
such record-by-record changes in the database, but I probably could copy
the most recent FILE from one computer to the other, could I not? How
about synchronizing with my Palm handheld? Does this work well, or is it
flaky?
